Our Dairy Goats
We are members of the American Dairy Goat
Association and Indiana Dairy Goat Association.
Our dairy herd is registered with the American Dairy Goat
Association and the Indiana Dairy Goat Association. The herd
consists of Saanen, French Alpine, and our one Nubian named
Tia. Our herd sires are Saanen and French Alpine.
Our registered Saanen and French Alphine dairy goat does are
wonderful milk animals. They, and our sole Nubian doe, Tia,
provide enough milk for us to bottle feed the goat kids and
make handmade artisan soap and lotion products.
Our goats graze freely on our farm and we pay strict
attention to our girl’s diet. This allows the girls to
provide us with a mild-tasting, creamy milk. Because our
animals live in a herd they congregate in small family units
as they graze, drink, sleep, babysit, and play together.
They are protected by our two Great Pyrenees livestock guard
dogs, Blair and Tara.
